NEW TO THE AREA OR SIMPLY DISCERNING A CHANGE?
The winter season brings about lots of realities. For persons and families relocated to the area over
the late summer and fall it means a literal laundry list of changes. It’s time to change voter registration, driver’s license information and find new doctors, dentists, etc. The list goes on and on! Often it means visiting a number of local area churches until one is found that feels just right. Most of us know after a visit or two if our parish community is the kind of parish they are looking for. While we know we can’t be all things to all people, we hope visitors know the invitation to join us is warmly extended, week after week.
It’s important for those who choose St. Columban as their parish to let us know we have been chosen! You can do so by taking just a few moments to complete a registration card in the Parish Office during regular weekday and weekend office hours. In addition, you can register after Masses in the Family Room of the church. The schedule is printed in the bulletin and verbally announced prior to the Mass. You may also e-mail a request to register and we will follow up with you.
New members tell us that St. Columban is like a familiar face in a strange new setting. Parishioners and guests repeatedly tell us that we meet their spiritual, sacramental, religious educational and practical needs. We hope that never changes!
Whether you are joining us from a Catholic parish across town or across country, please be sure to inform your former parish that you have changed parishes. Trust us -- every parish administrative staff likes to keep an accurate and up-to-date membership data-base. Registration here takes just a few brief moments. Please consider stopping by at your earliest convenience. Thanks for your consideration and welcome to St. Columban!
If you have been coming for months or years, and you consider St. Columban “your” parish, please take a moment to formally register. We would like to get to know you by face and by name.
