 St. Columban School

St. Columban School is a parochial school in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. It's mission is to afford the opportunity for quality Catholic education to its students in grades kindergarten through eight. St. Columban School provides an atmosphere for the spiritual, academic, emotional, social, physical, and aesthetic development of students within a faith community. Faculty and staff work in partnership with parents in the education of their children.

Be sure to check out our special edition: The Columban...focus on St. Columban School to learn more about our school.

 PTO

Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Parent-Teacher Organization is a vital link of communication between the home and school. This important group promotes goodwill and cooperation within the school community. Through volunteer efforts, fundraisers, and other activities, the P.T.O. gives support to the faculty and principal and provides special programs and materials for the school children.

Parents are urged to join and take an active part in the P.T.O. Some of the many ways to volunteer include participation in the Everybody Counts Program, Hospitality, After-School Programs, Playground volunteer, Magazine Drive, and Campbell's Soup Labels Program to name just a few.

General Assembly meetings are usually held four times per year.

PAC

PAC, St. Columban's newest committee, was formed with the goal of building and spreading positive attitudes throughout the school. This committee organizes the Student of the Month Program, Academic Honors Recognition, Random Acts of Kindness recognition, and Spirit Days.

 Uganda, Africa Mission

For thirteen years, students of St. Columban have raised funds to help support a mission school in Uganda. This collection is during the season of Lent. In collaboration with the Parish Social Action Commission. St. Columban students invite you to pray for the continued work that the Sisters are doing so that education and opportunities will be provided to all young people of the World. If you would like to help, please leave a message for Chad Drinnen at the Parish Office: 683-0105.
