8th grade Eucharistic Minister training

8^th graders are invited to apply to be an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.  It is important for you to understand the importance of this ministry.  After your training you will be able to minister at any Eucharistic liturgy at St. Columban. 

Here are some of the requirements:

• You have to be a baptized Roman Catholic.  (You do not have to be confirmed.)
• You must attend Sunday Mass on a regular basis.
• You must have a “devotion” to the Eucharist.
• You must write a paragraph on your application on why you want to be Minister of Holy Communion and explain the importance of the Eucharist in your life. 
• You must attend a training session during school or training TBD for ERE students.
• Complete the form below before the deadline of September 8^th.
