ERE and Sunday School updates
ERE will start on September 18, 2024 at 7:00pm and Sunday school will start on September 22, 2024. Registration is now open and if you register before July 4th you will entered into a drawing for either free tuition or a reserved parking space.
Preschool Religious Education, or Sunday school, starts September 22!
WHAT? Sunday School is a religious readiness program for young students to help them begin their faith journeys by learning about God and his love for us.
WHO? Preschoolers 3-5 (potty trained), kindergartners, and 1st graders.
WHEN? Sunday mornings during the 9:45 a.m. Mass. Classes start in September and run through April.
COST? Every student is $70 with a maximum per family of $200. You can pay below on our new “Online Giving” site after you register.
Interested in being a catechist?
Elementary Religious Education (ERE) starts September 18!
WHAT? ERE, Elementary Religious Education, is a religious education program for students who do not receive Catholic edcuation at their school. ERE classes explore living out our Catholic faith in God and continue to build a relationship with Jesus as we learn about our Church, its beliefs and traditions.
We try to make it different from school by using games, activities, crafts, skits, prayer and other fun ideas!
WHO? Grades 1-8 meet on Wednesday evenings.
WHEN? Wednesday evening programs meets most Wednesdays from September until April from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.
COST? Every student pays a fee of $70 with a maximum per family of $200. Second and eighth graders pay a fee of $100 per student due to the added retreats and sacramental preparation for these years. You can pay on our new “Online Giving” site after you register.
OPTIONS? We will have three options this year and will reevaluate this process at the end of the year. Please read carefully and mark which one you are chosing on the registration form. You will be asked to check:
Sacraments: If your child is in 2nd or 8th grade, they will receive more information about the sacraments in October.
Catechists are volunteers who teach the classes. Many return each year, but we are always looking for new people who may be interested. Please sign up on the registration form, or fill out the catechist application in the box above on the left side, if you are interested or want more information about teaching or being a sub.
