Mission Statement: The mission of the St. Columban Stewardship Commission is to provide the parish community with a coordinated effort to increase awareness of faithful stewardship as a way of life, as well as to give practical methods to live it out, both personally and communally. All that we have and all that we are is a gift from God. We promote intentional, planned and proportionate giving of time, talent and treasure as a way to deepen our relationship with God and become better stewards of God's gift of life and the blessings given to each of us. "As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace." ~ 1 Peter 4:10
Theme: Bringing Jesus to people and people to Jesus
Stewardship is based on spiritual principles of the Old Testament and Jesus’ teachings, and a way to thank God for all God’s blessings. It is a way to deepen our relationship with God and involves intentional, planned and proportionate giving of our time, talent and treasures.
What is Stewardship?
Stewardship Commission brief profile
Provides the parish community with a coordinated effort to increase the parish's awareness of and give practical methods to live out faithful stewardship both personally and communally. This mission is to become better stewards of God's gift of life and blessings given to each of us.
We actively look for opportunities to more fully engage the time, talent and treasure of parishioners in service to the parish and the broader community. We provide the means to increase awareness of and active participation in more than 50 parish ministries while celebrating engagement and Godly stewardship of the gifts we've been given.
